Zerø Muda is Horsforth’s first refill store. We offer a wide range of good quality, organic dried foods, oils, vinegars, as well as household and beauty products. We stock fresh organic vegetables and fruit from The Organic Pantry. We stock fresh sourdough loaves from Leeds Bread Coop (available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and bloomer loaves from Baltzersens's Bakery (available on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday).
Zerø Muda has a social mission, this means that any profits we make will be channelled back into projects in the local community. We are looking forward to supporting local charities; social and environmental organisations; schools and community events.
Wherever possible, Zerø Muda uses suppliers who are both local and circular in supply; that means packaging goes back and is reused. In partnership with Kirkstall Valley Farm we are a collection point for locally grown veg boxes. We also offer a range of locally crafted products supplied by small businesses.
Ice Cream: During summer, we have ice cream from Lick Dairy Free available 7 days a week in our legendary homemade waffle cones. We sell as single or double scoops and you can also fill a tub to take home for your freezer. Stay tuned for the 2025 launch date.
Kombucha: available on tap by the till. Bring a bottle or buy one of ours, and enjoy this refreshing alcohol free probiotic drink.
Coffee: We have a coffee bar in store serving your favourite hot drinks, with coffee from North Star Coffee Roastery. Enjoy your drink in store while we sort your refills. Want takeaway? Bring your own cup or rent one from us. We don't do paper cups here. We also have a range of baked goods available to enjoy alongside.
Peanut Butter: Bring a jar to get peanut butter, ground fresh just for you!
Loyalty scheme: Download the "Magic Stamp" app from your app store and search for Zero Muda to add our loyalty card. You'll get one stamp per visit if you spend over £10 and once you have a full card you can redeem 10% off a future shop!
